Program

Description

Phoenix House Health and Recovery Solutions is an integrated behavioral health services program designed to help individuals manage their substance use and behavioral health issues.

Our board-certified doctors, physician assistants, nurses, and licensed clinicians provide integrated care for individuals struggling with substance use disorders and related mental health issues.

This new initiative enhances our continuum of care in Vermont, which includes Outpatient and Intensive Outpatient care as well as transitional living programs at five locations statewide.  Payments from most health insurance carriers are accepted, as well as self-paying clients. All major credit cards are also accepted. For more information, or to make a referral, please call 802-448-1086.

Phoenix House New England’s Vermont Outpatient Programs, with locations in Brattleboro and Burlington, offer a comprehensive behavioral health treatment approach to help individuals throughout the state heal from substance use disorders. Clinicians and providers assist patients with reclaiming their lives within a community setting. Licensed professional clinicians and practitioners partner with each patient to identify unique strengths, needs, abilities and preferences in orders to explore areas of challenge, make desired changes, and facilitate healing at the connection of mind, body, and spirit. Outpatient services for behavioral health issues are tailored to meet each patient’s individual needs. The program helps clients regain control of their lives by establishing sobriety, supporting a sustained recovery, and creating support networks.

Patients may participate in group counseling and/or individual therapy as clinically determined according to need and preference. A clinical and person-centered approach is recommended throughout Outpatient treatment. All patients are assessed by a licensed clinician to further evaluate clinical needs. An additional on-site referral can be made related to any mental health needs, and Medication for Opiate Use Disorder (MOUD), also known as Medication-Assisted Treatment (MAT), is available in conjunction with treatment services.

The majority of Phoenix House New England’s programs are accredited by CARF, the Commission on Accreditation of Rehabilitation Facilities, a nationally recognized standard of excellence.
