In addition, community agencies present various health-related topics, psychoeducational groups, and evidence-based group counseling. Length of stay varies depending on the individual needs of each patient and is followed by referral to the next appropriate level of care.
Outpatient and MAT program
Outpatient services for behavioral health issues are tailored to meet each patient’s individual needs. The program helps clients regain control of their lives by establishing sobriety, supporting a sustained recovery, and creating support networks. Patients may participate in group counseling and/or individual therapy as clinically determined according to need and preference. A clinical and person-centered approach is recommended throughout Outpatient treatment. All individuals are assessed by a licensed clinician to further evaluate clinical need. An additional on-site referral can be made related to any mental health needs, and Medication-Assisted Treatment (MAT) is available in conjunction with treatment services.
Intensive Outpatient Treatment
Phoenix House Keene’s Intensive Outpatient Program (IOP) provides treatment for substance use disorders in group sessions that meet three times weekly for approximately three hours. IOP is appropriate for adults age 18 and older who need to learn skills and develop support systems to maintain abstinence. Treatment includes supportive sessions to identify substance use triggers, while teaching complementary skills for reduction or abstinence. All individuals are assessed by a licensed clinician to further evaluate clinical need. An additional on-site referral can be made related to any mental health needs, and Medication-Assisted Treatment (MAT) is available in conjunction with treatment services. Individuals are supported in the transition from the IOP to the Outpatient program and ongoing services as clinically recommended.
